EasyREG was designed from the beginning to be a fully customizable and user friendly program that could be used by any business, church, or sports organization to perform online event registrations. Once the account is setup your organization can use EasyREG to create an unlimited number of event registrations, each with their own unique form. If you choose, the EasyREG staff will work with you to mimic your web sites "look and feel" so that when people submit registrations it looks as if they never leave your site. Full step by step instructions are provided in our online tutorial. What follow here is an overview of the program and what it can do for you.


Creating a Registration Form
Using EasyREG is a very easy and straightforward process. Each new event begins with its creation from the main EasyREG administrator page. Once this is done EasyREG provides you with a tool called "Build a Form" so that you can build, edit, and publish a registration form with no prior programming knowledge.  Finally, EasyREG provides you with an option called sign up page.  If you choose to add your customized sign up page to your site you can, with a click of a button, instantly add and remove event registration forms from your site.


Communicating with your Registrants
Now that you have created a form for your event you need to decide if you want to send emails to your registrants. EasyREG has 4 registration states (Pending, Approved, Paid and Held). Three of these states (Pending, Approved and Paid) have corresponding email templates that you can edit and use to send emails to your registrants when their registration falls into that state. You can use these states and email templates any way you like depending on the particular event that you are accepting registrations for ... or not use them at all. The emails are a way of automating your communication with each individual providing them with information on the state of their registration request.


Accepting credit card payments
Another feature in EasyREG is the ability to accept credit card payments if there is a fee associated with your event. This task is performed by our partnering with Paypal. To use this functionality you must first setup a Paypal account. For more information on Paypal and how it works, visit the Paypal site today.


Working with your registration data
As registration requests start coming in for your event they are, by default, placed in the "pending" state in your EasyREG account. When viewing your event you will be given the ability to approve these registrations, mark them as paid (if applicable) or add in a note in for that particular registration.  You can also view all of your data all at once, sort it by columns, to see your information in one consolidated view.  Need to download that data?  No problem.  EasyREG allows you to download the registration data for importing into an Excel spreadsheet. You can even communicate with the registrants through the use of our email broadcast tool. The broadcast tool can be used to communicate with the participants in one particular event or every event that you have listed in your EasyREG program. An event cancelled or rescheduled? Let everyone know at once with one email message.


Sharing your registration data
There may be times when you may want to grant viewing access to your registration data for an event (maybe the event's organizer). EasyREG accommodates this need with our "Share Data" tool. By giving an organizer the share data link they can see who has registered for a particular event that they are organizing. If they need to download this information to get it organized you can also give them access to the data through a password that you set up within EasyREG for that event. In this way, you continue to control the data but your event organizer can access and sort it as they do their planning.

 

Security
Finally, EasyREG is secure. It is a password protected site so only you, and those that you allow access, can manipulate the registration data.
