Quick Start Guide
You've opened up your EasyREG account ...
now what? Here's a guide to getting started.
Create Your Registration Event
First step is always to create a new event that you want to accept
registrations for. Click on the "Create New Event" link at the top
of the main page.
- Once on this page the first step is actually step 2 ... Setup Email
Accounts (since this is your first time). Click on the "Add an Email"
link and add an email to the drop down list. This person will be the
administrator for this particular event. The administrator knows the
login info and will do the approving and updating for the registrations
as they come in.
- Next go back to the "Create New Event" and fill out:
- Step 1 (Year & Name)
- Step 2 (Setup Email Accounts)
- If you have a Paypal account and wish to accept credit card payments
for your event, fill out Step 6 (Online Payments). Otherwise you can choose the default settings for the rest
of the choces and
click on the "Create New Registration" button at the bottom.
Build your registration form & create your email
templates
- Once the event is created you will be directed to either creating
your registration form or editing your email templates ... it does not
matter which one you do first.
- Use the "Build a Form"
tool to create your registration form. Edit, Preview, Add to, and Update your form until
you are satisfied with all of your fields.
- Click on "Edit Emails" link to edit your pending, approved and paid
email templates. Use these email to send to your registrants as
they pass from one status to the next. Be sure to turn on the
sending of emails for each email template that you wish to use.
Ready to Go!
- Now that the form is built, test it with some dummy registrations to
make sure you are gathering all the information that is important to you
for this particular event.
- Happy with the output? You are ready to start excepting
registrations .. it's that easy!
