Tutorial
Welcome to the EasyREG tutorial. This
tutorial will take you step by step through the entire process of creating
and maintaining your online registration events. If your looking for a
Quick Start Guide, click here. For the purpose of this tutorial, please remember that...
- Event is the thing that people are registering for. It can
be anything from a basketball league to a lady's weekend retreat.
- Registration is the actual individual submission that is
entered for each event. There are many registrations per event.
This tutorial is broken down into several
areas. It is best to walk through the entire tutorial from beginning to
end so that you do not miss any of the many features that this program has to
offer you. You can later come back and review specific areas if you need
a refresher for a particular aspect of the program. The tutorial areas are
...
- Creating a New Event. All registration's begin with the
creation of a new registration event.
- Editing an Event. This tutorial gives you a complete
explanation of all the various settings that you can customize for each
registration event. This tutorial also goes into the different email
configurations that you can use and customize for each event.
- Building a Registration Form. This tutorial shows you
how to build a complete registration form with our unique "Build a Form"
tool and no programming experience.
- Sign Up Page. EasyREG provides for you a sign up page
to list all of your events on. It is required that all events
actively accepting registrations are placed on the signup page so
registrants can "find them" in any attempt to perform multiple event
registrations. To display your active events on the signup page
click on No under the "Sign Up Page"
column and your event will toggle to Yes
and be displayed on your sign up page for all to use. Toggle it
back to No and your event is
instantly removed.
- View/Sort your Data. Viewing your events data in a
consolidated view has never been easier. Now you can select the
data you wish to view, see it displayed in a spreadsheet style format
all on one page, and then sort it by column by clicking on the column
title of choice.
- Viewing Registrations. This tutorial will go into the
specific statuses, what they mean to you, and how you can use (or not
use) them to fit your specific needs.
- Broadcasting a Message. This tutorial gives you a full
description of the powerful broadcasting tool which is integrated into
EasyREG. This utility will allow you to send emails to particular
registrants in a particular event or to send broad emails out to several
events at one time.
- Online Payments. This tutorial will give you all the
information on integrating Paypal with EasyREG to provide you the
ability to start accepting online payments for your events.
- Exporting Data. This tutorial will go into how you can
easily export your online registration data into an Excel spreadsheet
for sorting, sharing, and organizing.
- Sharing your Data. This tutorial will provide you with an in
depth look at the ability EasyREG gives non administrators to view and
download data. Viewing a listing of registrants signed up for an event
by someone other than an administrator can be very useful. EasyREG
gives you the ability to allow a group organizer to see and download the
registrant data without giving them the ability to edit or change the
data in any way.
